Some of our current and past teacher's comments: "I have been in Korea for exactly 4 months now, I am having an amazing time, seeing new places, experiencing new things, it's wonderful! It's totally different to my life back in Australia, that's for sure! I have new friends, people from many different backgrounds themselves, as well as the locals! People here tend to treat you quite well and help you out a lot. Like in any other country, you become good friends with the foreigners and they become your support system, you are never alone. The food is great, such a variety and something always suitable for any weather! The lifestyle is very relaxed and comfortable. The locals are very law abiding and coming here alone, I find myself feeling fairly safe. And of course, when it comes to teaching, to think your the one helping change their lives, makes it all worth while. The life here is very interesting and there are always things you definitely want to write home about! I'm having an experience of a lifetime in South Korea and as we speak my own life is changing, nothing is worth regretting or forgetting." Jenna Wieden - South Korea
"After making the decision to teach English in Japan, the task of finding employment seemed overwhelming! I was fortunate enough to meet with Teach Away and to be offered a job in Japan. The support I’ve received has been incredible, and the entire experience has been positive. In the sometimes uncertain world of teaching English in Asia, Teach Away has helped to provide me with a reliable job and excellent placement. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!" Laura Sopkowe - Japan
"I am so thankful for all the work you've done for me... this place is amazing! The apartment is fantastic, the school is SO nice. I'm really happy. Thanks again." Francesco Napoli - S. Korea

"Deciding to come overseas to teach in South Korea was certainly a difficult decision to make. However, now that I am here, I couldn't picture myself anywhere else! South Korea is so exciting in so many different ways and the country is filled with so much culture and beauty that there is never a dull moment. Teaching English has also been a wonderful experience. I look forward to going into work each and every day. The children I teach are absolutely adorable and are so eager and excited to learn. Even in the short period of time that I have been in South Korea, it has been an experience of a lifetime, and I am so thankful for the opportunities that Teach Away offers to come and do something so incredible!" Amanda Bickley - S. Korea
"I'm definitely still enjoying my time back in Japan. I think this is the best job I've had yet. My students are so much fun! ... When I have free time they're really encouraging of me just visiting classes where students are doing arts and crafts or cooking or playing sports, and talking with the students and participating with the students which is fun. I've never had a job where I smile as soon as I get to work and I smile as I'm leaving." Derek Odell - Japan
"I just wanted to let you know that Chris and I have settled in nicely, here in Busan. We are very comfortable in our apartment and in our jobs. We both enjoy the work and the great experience it is providing. And we are both lucky enough to have a whole summer vacation to ourselves! Six weeks of vacation starting on Monday! I just wanted to update you on our situation and let you know how happy we are. Thanks for all your help!" Nicole Bullis & Chris Plecash - S. Korea
"As far as my placement goes, I love it! Sendai is a 15 minute train ride and it is the ideal city for me (not too big, very clean, and plenty of forests, ect.). I really did enjoy meeting you, you guys were great. I am looking forward to a time when we can meet up over here. Thank you!" Eric Inman - Japan "When I decided to go to South Korea I wasn't sure what to expect, I just knew I wanted something different. My experience here has given me far more than I imagined. I quickly grew very confortable in this very different place. This was because of the warm hospitality of the local people and the overwhelmingly diverse group of foreigners who are easily approached. I never thought that I would enjoy teaching so much, and my job has turned into much more than a means to make money while I am here. South Korea is an excellent option for anyone interested in saving money, traveling, teaching, partying or just experiencing something new. I have found all of these things here and much more." Jacob Templin - S. Korea
"I believe it is safe to say that when deciding to teach overseas, the whole process can be a very overwhelming experience. It really comes down to feeling confident and secure with the job contract you are offered, in whichever country you decide to teach in. Teach Away offers that security with their expertise and professionalism. From my own personal experience, I had so many questions before leaving for South Korea, all of which were answered without uncertainty. Teach Away knows what to look for in teaching contracts, and are able to provide you with the best guidance throughout the entire process. I've been teaching here in S. Korea for just over a month, and so far it has been such an amazing experience. Teach Away - THANK YOU!!" Jessa Duffy - S. Korea
"Deciding to come to Korea was a hard decision but I'm really happy that I came. It has been challenging at times but the teachers at my school and other Koreans have been more than willing to help. They have definitely made the transition to this new culture a lot easier. The students are wonderful, and for the most part are excited to come to class. There are also many other foreign teachers from all over the world, and meeting them has been fun. They are always willing to show you around and have a good time. Along with the great teaching experience, I'm also getting the opportunity to experience many things I wouldn't in Canada. There is so much to do and see in this country. I've been here three months and I still find myself seeing or doing something different every week. Working in Korea has also given me the chance to travel and explore countries I never though I would see. I am truly glad to be in Korea and would highly recommend it to anyone who is entertaining the idea. It's an experience you will never forget!" Leslie Spicer - S. Korea visit Leslie's website "Being a teacher and a professional it was a major decision as a couple to leave our jobs and go away for a year to teach in Taiwan. This decision was made easier by using Teach Away! They really put our mind at ease and addressed every question and concern. Every specific need we had was met such as being placed in separate schools; arranging for our flight, visa documents, and accomodation together; meeting us at the airport; taking us to get our papers and training us on our first day of school. Nothing could have been easier for us! They took away the worry and allowed us to feel comfortable in our new home." Amin and Jill - Taiwan
"Starting my Asian teaching experience with Teach Away was the best decision that I made before deciding to come to Taiwan. I was placed in Taipei, Taiwan and after just a couple of months I knew that for me there was no better place to work. While I saw other foreign teachers dealing with numerous problems as they entered their teaching experience, I was secure in my job and legal working status. Teach Away took care of getting me a good job that provided a competitive wage, a work permit and residency card - all of these are essentials when working in a foreign country. Currently I am teaching kids between 3 and 12, and I'm loving the job. My teaching salary easily allows me to save quite a large sum of money and live comfortably at the same time. I have had numerous opportunities to travel all over Asia for cheap prices and have visited Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, and Malaysia. Being over here for almost a year now I can honestly say that Teach Away made my working and living experience in Taiwan better than the other teachers that I meet almost every day. Thanks Teach Away!" Dave Bell - Taiwan
"Having not had much experience traveling, it was reassuring to know that Teach Away had plenty of experience and advice to offer... The Taiwanese people are one of the friendliest people I have ever met. They make living in such a hectic city (Taipei) quite enjoyable. They are always willing to help regardless of the language barrier... Teaching in Taiwan was a real adventure, and with the help and expertise of Teach Away, any unforseen problems were always dealt with quickly and effectively." Ian K.

"The opportunity to teach both young students and teenagers in Taipei during the summer of 2004 was amazing, and I especially loved teaching this group of girls from Zhongshan Girls' High School. They were eager to learn, and it was great to get to know them not only as their teacher, but as a friend." Jenni Denniston - Taiwan
