"I have been in Korea for exactly 4 months now, I am having an amazing time, seeing new places, experiencing new things, it's wonderful! It's totally different to my life back in Australia, that's for sure! I have new friends, people from many different backgrounds themselves, as well as the locals! People here tend to treat you quite well and help you out a lot. Like in any other country, you become good friends with the foreigners and they become your support system, you are never alone. The food is great, such a variety and something always suitable for any weather! The lifestyle is very relaxed and comfortable. The locals are very law abiding and coming here alone, I find myself feeling fairly safe. And of course, when it comes to teaching, to think your the one helping change their lives, makes it all worth while. The life here is very interesting and there are always things you definitely want to write home about! I'm having an experience of a lifetime in South Korea and as we speak my own life is changing, nothing is worth regretting or forgetting."

"Deciding to come overseas to teach in South Korea was certainly a difficult decision to make. However, now that I am here, I couldn't picture myself anywhere else! South Korea is so exciting in so many different ways and the country is filled with so much culture and beauty that there is never a dull moment. Teaching English has also been a wonderful experience. I look forward to going into work each and every day. The children I teach are absolutely adorable and are so eager and excited to learn. "I'm definitely still enjoying my time back in Japan. I think this is the best job I've had yet. My students are so much fun! ... When I have free time they're really encouraging of me just visiting classes where students are doing arts and crafts or cooking or playing sports, and talking with the students and participating with the students which is fun. "When I decided to go to South Korea I wasn't sure what to expect, I just knew I wanted something different. My experience here has given me far more than I imagined. I quickly grew very confortable in this very different place. This was because of the warm hospitality of the local people and the overwhelmingly diverse group of foreigners who are easily approached. I never thought that I would enjoy teaching so much, and my job has turned into much more than a means to make money while I am here. South Korea is an excellent option for anyone interested in saving money, traveling, teaching, partying or just experiencing something new. I have found all of these things here and much more."

They have definitely made the transition to this new culture a lot easier. The students are wonderful, and for the most part are excited to come to class. There are also many other foreign teachers from all over the world, and meeting them has been fun. They are always willing to show you around and have a good time. Along with the great teaching experience, I'm also getting the opportunity to experience many things I wouldn't in Canada. There is so much to do and see in this country. I've been here three months and I still find myself seeing or doing something different every week. Working in Korea has also given me the chance to travel and explore countries I never though I would see. I am truly glad to be in Korea and would highly recommend it to anyone who is entertaining the idea. It's an experience you will never forget!" 
"Being a teacher and a professional it was a major decision as a couple to leave our jobs and go away for a year to teach in Taiwan. This decision was made easier by using Teach Away! "Starting my Asian teaching experience with Teach Away was the best decision that I made before deciding to come to Taiwan.
