"Hi Jessa, I wanted to thank you for everything you did for me, you were very helpful, supportive and gave me a lot of guidance. I really appreciate everything, I am so happy that i went through Teach Away and the EPIK staff and orientation has been an amazing experience. Everybody is friendly here and very approachable, plus I am meeting people from all over the world. Today we are going to Seoul to meet our co-teachers and move into our apartments, I am going to Soebu, on the west end, very excited. Once again, thanks for everything and take care."

"Hi Katarina, Well, when you place people, you obviously do a great job! I spent nearly 3 years at the same place with the same company. And yeah, I have to say, it has worked out very well for me and I have been blessed with an amazing baby and husband. Who knew a one year teaching stint would lead to that! "
Kayla Nicholls - Gwangju, South Korea
"Hi Selena, Thank you for the opportunity to teach in the UAE. You have been 100% professional and instantly available to me throughout the process. What you do is very important. Not only are you changing the lives of a lot of teachers but you are changing the lives of THOUSANDS of Emirati children. History will look back at the UAE and say that this was the reform that made a difference. Not wars. Thank you again."
Robert Wall - UAE
"I cant thank-you enough again for all of your help! When looking into Teach Away, I read several testimonials of how helpful the representatives are and how easy they made the entire process. I thank-you once more! It really shows when an individual believes in what they do and absolutely loves what they do for a living. You are that man Adrian! THANK YOU :) "

"Allow me to begin by saying that I have taught overseas, once before, in Germany. Thus far, your preparation and support far exceeds my previous experience. I am thoroughly impressed with the level of comfort your staff members provide me when dealing with any item. You are what I would coin a "polished" organization from top to bottom, or should I say, side-to-side, as I firmly believe in a flattened leadership model.
- My recruiter, Adrian, could not possibly be more helpful or more professional, in any respect. Rating-Outstanding
- My greeter in Toronto, Rene, could not be any more friendly, positive, caring and also professional. Rating-Outstanding
- My interviewer - and I must say I've conducted hundreds myself, was the best I've ever seen. Rating-Outstanding
The webinar, was excellent and went over already provided information but also filled in a few gaps and allowed for a Q&A. It was spoken by someone with much skill of voice modulation to help those anxious individuals feel more at ease. It provided follow up numbers and support personnel, such as yourself, as avenues to alleviate any further tensions. Rating-Superior! As you can see I am very happy as I move forward with you and these processes. Thank you."

"My experience in Korea has been surreal from day one. Although I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, it turns out to be the best career move I've made so far. I have so many great memories, and stories to share through my time here. I love teaching and I love my students. Little did I know that I would learn so much from them. There is definitely intrinsic value to teaching abroad. Being able to balance work with play, travel, cross-cultural experiences, learning another language, meeting new friends - the excitement seems boundless. Initially, I didn't see myself staying overseas for more than 2 years. I'm currently finishing my second year and I can't even fathom returning home yet! I can't imagine being anywhere else. Thank you Teach Away for such a wonderful life-changing experience."
Kit Cheung - South Korea
"I am absolutely impressed by Teach Away. My Teach Away rep, Ash, has been so professional and helpful in this process. When I went to the interview, I was immediately greeted by a staff member of Teach Away who put me at ease and answered questions which I thought might seem silly. I feel fortunate to have connected, rather by happenstance, with such an amazing organization dedicated to finding, placing, and supporting talented teachers around the globe. Indeed, there are many scams out there in the ESL/EFL world (I almost fell victim to one of them). With Teach Away, you can sleep at night knowing that you are working with a professional, helpful, and reputable organization."
Aimee Rhoden - UAE
"Teach Away is awesome. Made everything very easy and simple for my wife, 3 month old baby and I to travel to the UAE. Dave was great and very helpful throughout everything."

"I got my first teaching job through Teach Away. I was very impressed with the organization and staff. They came to the school in Taipei half way through the year to check on the Teach Away teachers. Although the school was great, the Taiwanese parenter that they worked with had misrepresented some of the key contract points. Because of our feedback, Teach Away did not renew their contract with that agency! I was very impressed by the follow up and concern for the teachers; the Teach Away staff make sure that the positions are actually as posted! Thanks to Teach Away, I'm now in my 8th year of teaching overseas."
Carol Nickle - Taipei, Taiwan
"Working abroad is one of the most challenging experiences you can have, and a strong support system is essential -- from the initial meeting, through to the application and interview process, and of course, during the course of your contract. Fortunately, I decided to go through Teach Away and I've had a wonderful experience! I know that I can contact them regarding any situation, be it professional or cultural or otherwise, they will always help me find a solution! Thank you very much!! "
Ana Zorawski - South Korea
"Teach Away was fabulous before, during and after my interview. Their professionalism and patience cannot be exceeded. If I were to teach abroad again I would definitely go through their organisation for placement."
Layla Sahli - UAE
"I would definitely give Teach Away 5 stars. They made the process as easy as possible and always answered all of our 10,000 questions promptly. Jessa was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks Teach Away!"

"I have been extremely impressed by Teach Away's professionalism during the course of this move. I had been registered with a lot of agencies and had some issues with a previous school and agency. I just thank God that I found Teach Away. They have been a breath of fresh air during this process. Thanks Dave and Jessa for all your help to me."

"Going to Japan was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It opened up so many different opportunities for me from learning to speak Japanese to traveling all around Asia. It brought me to meet people from all over the world, experience the culture and discover the beauty of Japan. It was definitely a hard transition at the start, but being surrounded by a great network people of all backgrounds, helped me overcome my homesickness. The kids were so adorable and great to teach! Going to class everyday with kids excited to learn and see you makes the job so easy. Teach Away gave me an experience that I will never forget!"
Catherine Cruz - Yamaguchi, Japan
"A long overdue thank you to the Teach Away team for all your great efforts in bringing this amazing opportunity to fruition! I was very impressed with the professional manner in which the massive project was orchestrated and have thoroughly enjoyed my new experience in Abu Dhabi. Thanks again!"

"As the first semester draws near the end I would just like to thank everyone for everything they have done for me, my older brother (Senad) and the rest of the teachers thus far.
I cannot express how happy and blessed I personally feel towards my overall experience in the UAE so far. I have met so many interesting and wonderful people, had some amazing adventures I will never forget, and am honestly proud to say that it is a joy going to work every day. I am very proud to be a member of the Ghantoot Secondary staff and I feel extremely blessed to have ended up in that school. All the way from the top, starting with the principal (who is one of the best people I have ever met in my life), the providers and the entire staff at the school, as well as the rest of the Arabic faculty, everyone has truly been a blessing and offered tremendous support and friendship. I have endless respect and admiration for my superiors and co-workers.
I really love my students and I feel the same love in return. This is a special joy I get at work every single day. They are full of life and once you get to know them individually each one is a really special person that makes me feel blessed and truly proud to be in this profession. All of us have been through a lot, especially in the beginning with all the adjustments, but I just want to express my gratitude and respect to everybody for making this a truly wonderful experience in my life. I appreciate all your hard work from the bottom of my heart and I can speak for my older brother as well. Thank you all so much, your efforts and constant support are really making a difference! May we all continue to grow, improve and reach new goals in the upcoming semester (Insallah)."

"I have been in Korea for exactly 4 months now, I am having an amazing time, seeing new places, experiencing new things, it's wonderful! It's totally different to my life back in Australia, that's for sure! I have new friends, people from many different backgrounds themselves, as well as the locals! People here tend to treat you quite well and help you out a lot. Like in any other country, you become good friends with the foreigners and they become your support system, you are never alone. The food is great, such a variety and something always suitable for any weather! The lifestyle is very relaxed and comfortable. The locals are very law abiding and coming here alone, I find myself feeling fairly safe. And of course, when it comes to teaching, to think your the one helping change their lives, makes it all worth while. The life here is very interesting and there are always things you definitely want to write home about! I'm having an experience of a lifetime in South Korea and as we speak my own life is changing, nothing is worth regretting or forgetting."
Jenna Wieden - South Korea

"After one year of teaching in Japan, I decided to come back home. It was really great to be back home. I settled back in but there was still something itching. After almost 2 years of being home I still want to go back and teach and travel. Definitely to Japan and maybe even somewhere else.
I came back to Canada and am now living in the USA. I met my husband in Japan. He was another ALT. He followed me back to North America, but we both really want to go back. I just wanted to share this story with Teach Away. Going to Japan really did impact my life in a very positive way and I am so grateful that I went!!"

"After making the decision to teach English in Japan, the task of finding employment seemed overwhelming! I was fortunate enough to meet with Teach Away and to be offered a job in Japan. The support I’ve received has been incredible, and the entire experience has been positive. In the sometimes uncertain world of teaching English in Asia, Teach Away has helped to provide me with a reliable job and excellent placement. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!"
Laura Sopkowe - Japan

"Deciding to come overseas to teach in South Korea was certainly a difficult decision to make. However, now that I am here, I couldn't picture myself anywhere else! South Korea is so exciting in so many different ways and the country is filled with so much culture and beauty that there is never a dull moment. Teaching English has also been a wonderful experience. I look forward to going into work each and every day. The children I teach are absolutely adorable and are so eager and excited to learn. Even in the short period of time that I have been in South Korea, it has been an experience of a lifetime, and I am so thankful for the opportunities that Teach Away offers to come and do something so incredible!"
Amanda Bickley - S. Korea

"I'm definitely still enjoying my time back in Japan. I think this is the best job I've had yet. My students are so much fun! ... When I have free time they're really encouraging of me just visiting classes where students are doing arts and crafts or cooking or playing sports, and talking with the students and participating with the students which is fun. I've never had a job where I smile as soon as I get to work and I smile as I'm leaving."
Derek Odell - Japan

"I just wanted to let you know that Chris and I have settled in nicely, here in Busan. We are very comfortable in our apartment and in our jobs. We both enjoy the work and the great experience it is providing. And we are both lucky enough to have a whole summer vacation to ourselves! Six weeks of vacation starting on Monday! I just wanted to update you on our situation and let you know how happy we are. Thanks for all your help!"
Nicole Bullis & Chris Plecash - S. Korea
"As far as my placement goes, I love it! Sendai is a 15 minute train ride and it is the ideal city for me (not too big, very clean, and plenty of forests, ect.). I really did enjoy meeting you, you guys were great. I am looking forward to a time when we can meet up over here. Thank you!"
Eric Inman - Japan

"When I decided to go to South Korea I wasn't sure what to expect, I just knew I wanted something different. My experience here has given me far more than I imagined. I quickly grew very confortable in this very different place. This was because of the warm hospitality of the local people and the overwhelmingly diverse group of foreigners who are easily approached. I never thought that I would enjoy teaching so much, and my job has turned into much more than a means to make money while I am here. South Korea is an excellent option for anyone interested in saving money, traveling, teaching, partying or just experiencing something new. I have found all of these things here and much more."
Jacob Templin - S. Korea

"I believe it is safe to say that when deciding to teach overseas, the whole process can be a very overwhelming experience. It really comes down to feeling confident and secure with the job contract you are offered, in whichever country you decide to teach in. Teach Away offers that security with their expertise and professionalism. From my own personal experience, I had so many questions before leaving for South Korea, all of which were answered without uncertainty. Teach Away knows what to look for in teaching contracts, and are able to provide you with the best guidance throughout the entire process. I've been teaching here in S. Korea for just over a month, and so far it has been such an amazing experience. Teach Away - THANK YOU!!"
Jessa Duffy - S. Korea

"Deciding to come to Korea was a hard decision but I'm really happy that I came. It has been challenging at times but the teachers at my school and other Koreans have been more than willing to help. leslie spicer.jpgThey have definitely made the transition to this new culture a lot easier. The students are wonderful, and for the most part are excited to come to class. There are also many other foreign teachers from all over the world, and meeting them has been fun. They are always willing to show you around and have a good time. Along with the great teaching experience, I'm also getting the opportunity to experience many things I wouldn't in Canada. There is so much to do and see in this country. I've been here three months and I still find myself seeing or doing something different every week. Working in Korea has also given me the chance to travel and explore countries I never though I would see. I am truly glad to be in Korea and would highly recommend it to anyone who is entertaining the idea. It's an experience you will never forget!"

"Being a teacher and a professional it was a major decision as a couple to leave our jobs and go away for a year to teach in Taiwan. This decision was made easier by using Teach Away! They really put our mind at ease and addressed every question and concern. Every specific need we had was met such as being placed in separate schools; arranging for our flight, visa documents, and accomodation together; meeting us at the airport; taking us to get our papers and training us on our first day of school. Nothing could have been easier for us! They took away the worry and allowed us to feel comfortable in our new home."
Amin and Jill - Taiwan

"Starting my Asian teaching experience with Teach Away was the best decision that I made before deciding to come to Taiwan. I was placed in Taipei, Taiwan and after just a couple of months I knew that for me there was no better place to work. While I saw other foreign teachers dealing with numerous problems as they entered their teaching experience, I was secure in my job and legal working status. Teach Away took care of getting me a good job that provided a competitive wage, a work permit and residency card - all of these are essentials when working in a foreign country. Currently I am teaching kids between 3 and 12, and I'm loving the job. My teaching salary easily allows me to save quite a large sum of money and live comfortably at the same time. I have had numerous opportunities to travel all over Asia for cheap prices and have visited Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, and Malaysia. Being over here for almost a year now I can honestly say that Teach Away made my working and living experience in Taiwan better than the other teachers that I meet almost every day. Thanks Teach Away!"
Dave Bell - Taiwan
"Having not had much experience traveling, it was reassuring to know that Teach Away had plenty of experience and advice to offer... The Taiwanese people are one of the friendliest people I have ever met. They make living in such a hectic city (Taipei) quite enjoyable. They are always willing to help regardless of the language barrier... Teaching in Taiwan was a real adventure, and with the help and expertise of Teach Away, any unforseen problems were always dealt with quickly and effectively."
Ian K - Taiwan

"The opportunity to teach both young students and teenagers in Taipei during the summer of 2004 was amazing, and I especially loved teaching this group of girls from Zhongshan Girls' High School. They were eager to learn, and it was great to get to know them not only as their teacher, but as a friend."
