United Arab Emirates - College Positions - B.Ed. Career Counseling Teacher

each Away is now hiring instructors for positions in the Bachelor of Education Faculty in Career Advising and Career Counselling program within the largest educational institute in the United Arab Emirates. This institute has a network of 16 colleges across 7 centers in the UAE including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ruwais, Madinat Zayed, Al Ain, Sharjah, Ras Al Kaimah, and Fujairah.

Candidates are responsible for preparing students in their chosen career to contribute to the positive development of the country. Candidates are encouraged to apply for this position they have a Masters degree in Counseling/Career Advising/Psychology and 3 years of counselor education experience as a teacher educator at the tertiary level with a specialty in career development or employment counseling. Experience in developing and supervising practicum placements for students is also important.

Teachers are responsible for preparing English teaching materials, provision of instruction and facilitation of learning, and monitoring student progress including supervising and mentoring students on practicum assignments.

The aim of this position is to help students improve their English language ability in order to function effectively at an international level.

Candidate Requirements
The following requirements are for all college level teaching positions. Candidate that do not meet the minimum requirements will NOT be considered for a post.
1. Masters Degree in Counseling/Career Advising/Psychology
2. A Minimum of 3 years counselor education experience as a teacher educator in a post-secondary institution with a specialty in career development or employment counseling
3. Experience in developing and supervising practicum placements for students
4. Fluent in written and spoken English at a Native Speaker level
