If you are looking to explore the "real" Japan and hope to gain some valuable teaching experience, then a public school job in Japan might the be perfect fit for you.  As an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) you will teach together with a Japanese teacher in a classroom.  This is perfect for those who are considering teaching as a career.

Applicants must be interviewed in person:

  • Toronto - interviews held all through March & April 2008
  • Vancouver - interviews in April 2008
  • New York - interviews in April 2008

Attendance to an information session and interview is by invitation only.  Space and interview dates are limited, so interested candidates should apply as-soon-as-possible!

Please keep in mind that most of these positions are in rural settigs, and there are no Tokyo placements.
