LOCATION - Chungbuk
This mountaneous, land-locked region has a large agricultural background.  Products such as rice, barley, beans, potatoes, ginseng and tobacco can be found here. Regarding natural resources; gold, iron, coal, marble and limestone can be found in the northern part of this region.  Chungbuk Technopark built a high-tech medical complex to comprise of 14 medical facilities following an investment of three trillion won!  The complex has been predicted to generate more 80,000 jobs by the time it is fully completed.

Due to the mountaneous nature of the region, skiing is a very popular sport in the winter.  Golf courses have also been constructed to take advantage of the breath-taking scenery that the mountains provide.
