Public School Teaching Jobs in Korea - Daegu

Public schools in Korea offer a great working environment and are perfect for those who want to get the real Korean experience. Teachers who are hired to work at public schools work directly for the Korean Ministry of Education. Teaching in Daegu

Located near Busan; Daegu is a city of over two million people.  It is one of the largest cities in Korea after Seoul, Busan and Incheon.  Because of Daegu’s location in southeastern Korea, its climate is somewhat milder.  While the summers are hot like the rest of the country, winters tend to be warmer on average.  The central part of the city has a large Oriental medicinal herb market where over 300 medical clinics, herb processing facilities and medicinal shops can be found.

The city of over two million is located nearby many popular tourist sites, including Mt. Palgongsan, Jikjisa Temple and Gayasan National Park.  Many of the nearby parks that surround the city have historic Buddhist temples that attract visitors from all over the world.  Duryu Park, at the foot of Duryu Mountain, has numerous walking trails and a large amusement park, among other attractions.
