Hello,

I know that Teach Away interviewed for the 2017 school year. However, the positions that I have applied for indicate a 2 to 3 year contract. Does this mean that the next interviews will be conducted in 2 years for administration jobs in the UAE? Thank you in advance for answering my question.

    Welcome to the forum! If you are looking to apply to the positions for the new school year, I recommend you to check back in October & November for the positions in the new school year. We are still accepting applications for the positions that have remained open on our website.

    Hi Shirin,

    Thank you, for responding! I have applied to positions. My application remains open. You indicated to me in another forum that my credentials were put into a pool as a candidate for the next interviews. Do you know when the next interviews will take place? Will they be for this school year or the next school year?

    You may check on the status of your application by clicking the button labelled "My Applications" on your profile for all non-direct to school positions at www.teachaway.com.

    If your application status is "closed" -- this indicates that your application was reviewed and did not meet the requirements of the job posting, that the position had already been filled by another candidate or that the school decided not to move forward with your application. We encourage you to continue applying.

    If your application meets the requirements of the job posting, our coordinators will be in touch with you within one to two weeks for a pre-screening. Due to the volume of applications we receive each day, we do not contact applicants if they are denied. Our advice is to keep an open mind, to apply, and to keep checking your application status on your profile.

    Sorry to hear! unfortunately, we do not receive individual feedback on each application and it simply could be that the school decided to go with another candidate. Don't be discouraged and apply to more positions as you are interested in

    Hi,

    From my understanding if interested they will contact you within 2 weeks. Look to see the status of your application. If it is closed then you did not meet the requirements or job has been filled. Hope this helps.

    My ap was closed. I'm wondering if it was closed because I did not meet the requirements.... hmmm

    Hi Mel,

    I was told I will interview when the next start day is determined. My ap for Vice Principal that starts in Dec of 17 was closed. However, my other aps are still open. I just wanted to know why that one was closed.

    I have 3 aps open Cluster Manager, Inspector, and Principal. That's a good sign.
