We are an International School offering an English educational setting for infants to primary students (1-year-olds to Grade 6).

Abroad International School - Nagoya provides an English-based comprehensive education which follows the Cambridge International Primary Program and UK National curriculum at the moment, however, we are in the process of offering International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP). We maintain a low student to teacher ratio allowing for strong student-teacher relationships. At the Primary School, we aim to make children confident and independent learners. We provide many opportunities for students to demonstrate what they have learned. Learning at AIS is inquiry-based, where students are encouraged to identify pertinent questions and construct well-informed answers.

We are seeking teachers who are enthusiastic, energetic, and ready to contribute to our high-quality education.

Our mission is to develop confident lifelong learners who are:

  • Multilingual
  • Inquiring
  • Open-minded
  • Respectful of all cultures

Through balanced reflection, and risk taking, our learners will be able to communicate, develop knowledge and pass on positive principles for the benefit of both themselves and others.
