- Teaching certificate from a state in the United States or a province in Canada. PGCE from the UK or Ireland (Please do not apply for this position if you do not meet this requirement)
- A minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience in Social Studies
- Experience and/or training in the IB Middle Years Program is a plus and will be given preference
- Fluent in written and spoken English - Native speakers preferred but we will consider English as a second language of this level as enough
