  • No visible tattoos (preferred)
  • Two years of work experience in a public or private setting with school-aged children
  • Note: Work experience is waived If your Bachelor’s Degree is in Education or Language, or if you have a Teaching Credential or a TEFL/TESOL certificate
  • Free food equivalent to about RMB ¥600 (breakfast & lunch Monday-Friday)
  • Accidental/Hospitalization Insurance
  • RMB ¥5,000 per year for flying to China from home country, half (RMB¥2,500) payable with the 8th  month’s salary and a half (RMB¥2,500) payable at the end of the contract
  • RMB ¥1,500, payable monthly with salary; rental assistance provided but the lease will be in the tenant‘s name
  • RMB ¥5,000 Sign-on Bonus, one-time-only, payable with the 8th month’s salary
  • RMB ¥5,000 Performance-based Bonus, upon contract renewal, a teacher is eligible for this bonus, payable with the 1st month salary of the new contract ; not available if there's no contract renewal
  • 5 days Personal Leave  er year for the first 5 years, 10 days per year starting on the 6th year; unused leave hours do not accumulate and will expire at the end of each contract
  • China VISA fee is the responsibility of the teacher; Any Work Permit related costs incurred in China fully reimbursable in 30 days; Document authentication fees incurred in the US reimbursable with the 8th month’s salary
  • 30 days National/Local Holidays

Job Description:

Instruct Chinese children (2 to 6 years of age) in programs and activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth in order to prepare children for success in their educational career.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare children for schooling by introducing concepts they will explore further later
  • Work with children in groups or one-on-one, depending on the needs of children and concepts being taught
  • Carry out or enhance the preset curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills
  • Organize activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests, and develop talents
  • Follow schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
  • Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring problems to the attention of administrators
  • Keep records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development via school-wide mandate and system
  • Able to accept constructive criticism from management and make improvements/ adjustments where necessary
  • Keep a positive and professional relationship with coworkers and students

Hours per Week: 

Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, 40 hours a week
