A minimum of 4 years of teaching and 2 yrs of HOD in American Curriculum
10 years’ experience in Administration in American Curriculum out of which 2-4 years’ experience as HOD is highly desirable

Job Description:

The Vice Principal will:

Understand how to blend the best of premium American education with contemporary international thinking to create a distinctive positioning for the school
Understand that leading learning is at the heart of school leadership
Collaborate and build high performing teams, and be able to inspire, motivate and develop sustainable relationships with all members of the school community
Communicate excellently with students, teachers, parents and community leaders in a manner that is open and inclusive and which conveys the values of the school
Possess a creative and pragmatic mind with the ability to lead innovations in teaching and learning and the broader activity of the school
Demonstrate a flair for attracting, retaining and developing managerial and educational talent

School climate responsibilities

Assist in the development of the school vision, ensuring that the school mission is reflected in its educational program, making it consistent with the values of the community and the school academic goals and practices
Articulate the school mission to the school community, soliciting support from all the members of the community
Exhibit multicultural awareness
Assist Superintendent in fostering collegiality and team building among faculty, encouraging their active involvement in the school progress
Assist Superintendent in communicating and promoting expectations for high-level performance from faculty and students by role modeling, encouraging, and recognising excellence and achievement
Collaborate with HOD/Superintendent in the development and implementation of school curriculum
