Saint Paul American School, located in the Haidian district of Beijing, is in search of an organized, holistically motivated, empathic, and cooperatively-minded individual to fill an administrator role for the 2020-2021 school year.

Only candidates with an outstanding track record of communication, collaboration and a positive work ethic will be considered. Experience with multiple cultures, peoples of diverse backgrounds, and international experience is a must. The administrative position will be coupled with one or two classes as part of your responsibilities. You will be tasked for the communication with approximately two dozen students originating from all over the world, check in with students on grades and well-being, support the school’s college preparation program, attend weekly meetings, as well as administrative duties assigned by the principal. 

Communication with parents, recruiters, and recruiting agencies will also be a critical part of this role.  The position requires an individual of high ability to answer emails, compose announcements and responses, as well as meet with these individuals in face-to-face.  You must also be knowledgeable in all school policies and procedures.  We also are seeking an individual who is not afraid to ask questions in order to get a firm understanding of their role during the training process.

Another highly sought after trait will be cooperation and collaboration. As an administrative role, you must also be supporting and understanding of both teachers and students. This support role often acts as a bridge between parties, either working toward mutual agreement or in mutual recognition of school policies and procedures in order to move forward. 

Due to Chinese visa requirements, we are only accepting qualified teachers with a license, degree, and at least two previous experiences.
