  • Police Clearance
  • 3 Years’ experience as a school administrator
  • Full-time overseas – hired and locally – hired employees receive a 25% (twenty-five percent) reduction in tuition fee - for up to two dependents for the first year of service and 50% (fifty percent) for each successive year of full-time employment with the school. All other fees must be borne by the employee. 
  • Medical insurance provided to visa holder only

In the academic coordination function, the Academic Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to provide support for the academic staff and to work with the HoD’s and the Administration to ensure that student academic needs are met. The Academic Coordinator assists the HoD’s and Administration in conducting the academic portion of staff training. He/she also provides assistance and advice to teachers who have students experiencing academic problems.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct academic staff training as directed by the AP’s or requested by the HoD’s;
  • Work with the AP’s and HoD’s before approving any book or supply;
  • Serve as the person charged by the Principal with the monitoring of students' academic progress;
  • Review and follow-up on student academic referrals regularly with the appropriate AP;
  • Meet frequently with the Student Counselor to discuss student problems;
  • Confer with SMC on issues of policy involving student dismissal;
  • Work with HoD’s to promote, support, and monitor interdepartmental projects and activities;
  • Attend all staff meetings, including SMC, ES and HS meetings, and HoD meetings;
  • Attend all Parent-Teacher meetings;
  • Establish regular office hours during which he/she is easily accessible to instructional staff;
  • Throughout the year, prepare a list of academic topics to address in final report;
  • Develop relationships with outside agencies for referral of students with special academic needs.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Principal.
