BASIS International & Bilingual Schools Chengdu opened in 2022 and serves students in Grades Pre-K – 11, with courses eventually being offered through Grade 12 and a capacity of over 1,800 students. This beautiful campus is our first to house both an international and bilingual curriculum in one location. Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan province—home to famous historic sites, cuisine, and culture. Our school is located in a new, high-tech area in the southwest of the city, convenient to the airport and with plenty of green space.
As a Drama Teacher, you lay a foundation for a lifelong love and appreciation for drama and theater by introducing theater vocabulary, history, creative movement, and stage design. You guide students in storytelling and performing for an audience. You emphasize theater and drama as a form of self-expression, while collaborating with fellow teachers to create interdisciplinary lessons. Throughout the academic year, you also organize events to showcase your students’ progress and work.
You will also:
- Foster meaningful relationships with each student to ensure a personalized and successful learning trajectory
- Guide students in pursuing academic achievement, personal responsibility, and intellect

The school’s facilities will include state-of-the-art classrooms, cafeteria, library, gymnasium, science labs, and plenty of outdoor space.

The master-planned location will include plenty of green space, and is convenient to the Chengdu airport as well.
