Early Years/Primary Teachers - Gulf British Academy

Kuwait: Kuwait is a small, friendly country located on the Arabian Gulf, providing the ideal base to visit many other countries. Kuwait has a large expat community and offers plenty of opportunities for new experiences, with lots of sunshine and plenty of beaches.  Being a tax- free country, it offers a great saving opportunity.

School ethos and values: our ethos and values begin with our motto: Grow, Build, Achieve, and are driven by the belief that tomorrow’s world truly is in today’s classroom. We create a family atmosphere in our school to help pupils develop their own personality in a secure and caring environment. We also recognise each child as an individual and take an inspiring, independent and creative approach to teaching so that a love of learning is instilled in each pupil. Daily life revolves around the core values of trust, respect, empathy and passion.

Job description: we are seeking passionate, versatile and creative teachers to work in our Early Years and Primary departments. In the coming years, we will be joining BSME and aiming to obtain BSO accreditation, so teachers must be flexible and team-orientated. At GBA we follow writing strategies by Alan Peat and Pie Corbett, so knowledge of these strategies is advantageous. You must be a team player and willing to go the extra mile; to ensure the children in your care receive the best possible education and guidance. We pride ourselves on welcoming new ideas and value the opinions of all staff on our journey of constant improvement.
