Prishtina High School, a K-12 grade school offers its students a premier college-preparatory education, certainly among the best in the country. Job Summary

The Physical Education Teacher at Prishtina High School is responsible for planning and implementing physical education activities, monitoring students, and evaluating student outcomes. Physical Education generally emphasizes sports-related skills, movement patterns, games, and fitness activities. Additionally, there should be an emphasis on healthy lifestyles and improving individual physical fitness. The Physical Education Teacher records and maintains student information. They are responsible for communicating with all parties involved in the education of the student. Individual teachers develop particular styles of teaching and are encouraged to utilize their style and techniques within the classroom to deepen the level of understanding for the students. The teaching curriculum and instructional information will fall within the school curriculum and meet the Physical Education Standards in the U.S. Prishtina High School are looking for a teacher who is capable of teaching a variety of grade levels.

General Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach physical education courses
  • Develop and maintain a healthy learning environment within the gym and workout areas
  • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate classroom management plan
  • Assess student capabilities within mastery and completion of the curriculum
  • Differentiate instruction for a variety of learning styles and levels
