Responsibilities

  • Coordinating curriculum development which involves preparation of schemes of work, setting of assessment tasks for the year group, moderation of marking as well as preparation of daily and weekly lesson plans
  • To actively engaged in supporting secondary department in raising the standards of teaching practice and students learning in classrooms
  • Managing responsibilities of a Form Tutor (class teacher) with a focus on pastoral care
  • Actively involved in training students for both intra and inter school level competition in debating and public speaking
  • Facilitating the learning process through efficient use of audio-visual aids
  • Monitoring students learning and performance, to ensure students achieve academic excellence and good examination results, and learn good moral values and ethics
