Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.

Minimum Experience:

  • Very good/outstanding teacher 
  • Teaching across ability ranges with proven success 
  • Experience working in more than one International School 
  • Experience teaching IB and I/GCSE 
  • Knowledge of UAE Ministry of Education and ADEK regulations 
  • Commitment to the school’s vision and IB Philosophy and Mission Statement 
  • Passion for education, teaching, and a belief in the potential of every student 
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, deal with challenging situations and be resilient 
  • Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

Aldar Academies is currently seeking Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher at Al Ain Academy in Al Ain commencing September 2023.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar family of schools and to help shape the future of Abu Dhabi’s leading school group.

Al Ain Academy opened in September 2011 providing high-quality education to the region. The children are taught the English National Curriculum – tailored to be meaningful to children living in Al Ain, alongside the local curriculum of Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Social Studies. Facilities at the school are excellent and include a large astro-turf field, two swimming pools, a well-stocked library, a large multi-purpose sports hall, an auditorium, and outdoor play areas.
