This is a remote job that offer stability and consistency in hours, students and work load. You can expect to be valued and hold a consistent and full student roster. We also equip you with physcial tools that you will need overtime.

We are looking for American English teachers for our online learning program that services students in South Korea. We require a goofy, happy and funny teacher that can also bring a solid resume to the table.
Teachers need to be outgoing, energetic, conversational and have a background in English, teaching, ESL. Please, if you do not actually have experience TEACHING STUDENTS ENGLISH, do no apply. We will not consider applicants that do not have degrees, teaching qualifications (TESOL is acceptable) and experience tutoring and teaching.
Qualifications:
- Teaching certification or degree in English, literature,
- online, in school, tutoring or homeschooling experience
- experience working with Asian students and culture preferred
- Online experience preferred
Teaching hours would be in the very early morning 3am-9am EST as our students live in Asian time zones. Mountain and Pacific timezones will not be considered. We do not want to ask our teachers to work overnight hours. European time zones will be considered, we have some teachers that live in Europe and Asia that have very reasonable hours. Hourly rates start at $16/hour and increase based on experience. There are also bonuses and commission in addition to the hourly rate. We hire teachers in small cohorts-- we fill your schedule so the work is worth it. You should plan on it taking 2-3 weeks to fill your schedule, but we work with every teacher in our program to have as many hours as they want. A lower hourly rate is worthwhile because you'll have your whole schedule filled and be able to count on that as income. There are also paid training, report writing, and curriculum development hours that make the job more well rounded.
We are a botique style online learning center, that believes in the traditional values of rapport building and tutoring the same set of students over the long term-- we believe that teachers should teacher and we want to empower you to make real connections with students long term. If you onboard with us, you should be prepared to teach in mix between international school and tech startup culture. There are demands on appearance, energy and punctuality because we are all real people, you will not simply engage with an app in isolation.
