Resilience and flexibility according the family style boarding (main free time is during the school day)
additional languages (especially German)
First aid training
Boarding experience, school or social education work experience

Job Benefits:

It is possible that GRB Assistants will have the opportunity to establish a link with a department within the school, and thus to gain further relevant experience of an area of education if they wish. It is expected that opportunities will arise for most GRB Assistants to plan, prepare and take lessons or sessions under the supervision of colleagues

Job Description:

Essential Tasks of Support and Learning

Providing student support and care in personal, moral, physical and intellectual matters
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students in the boarding houses
Maintaining a positive house culture, appropriate standards of behavior including being a positive role model
Liaising with parents, guardians and staff on all matters of boarding student life
Administration, organization and supervision of the boarding house including after school activities
Monitoring progress of boarding students in personal, moral, physical and intellectual matters
Actively contributing to the development and running of all boarding programs
