School Requirements:

Education Required: Bachelor
Minimum Teaching Experience: 2 years of teaching experience
Major: Psychology, sociology, social care
Required Certificates:
Teaching Credential/License

Additional School Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in career guidance, social service or education.
At least two years’ experiences in a similar role, preferably in a school.
English language proficiency and information technology is preferable.

Job Description:

SAIS Sharjah is looking for energetic and dynamic Career and Guidance Counselor and Social Counselor to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate needs to wear multiple hats to handle the both responsibilities, be highly organized, with extra attention to detail and the have the innate ability to lead hearts and minds.

As a Career and Guidance Counselor the right candidate needs to have previous experience in assisting students in high school with career choices and university applications. As a Social Counselor, the ideal candidate will provide support, guidance, counseling for all students in the school with social and emotional care and support.
