Who are we looking for? 

We are looking to hire a Head of MOE Subjects who believe they can make a difference to their students, who understands that change is a process, and who wants to take an active role in sharing their expertise as the team moves towards achieving its shared goals. You will:   

  • Have a relevant Teaching Qualification / License and experience leading Arabic department.
  • Two years’ senior or middle leadership in a similar setting.
  • Have experience teaching and leading in an American curriculum school setting.
  • Be an outstanding and inspirational senior leader.
  • Have a flexible and enthusiastic approach with a can-do ethos.
  • Be an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn, adaptable, motivated by challenge, and an excellent and engaging classroom practitioner.

What We Offer:

Teaching Staff are offered two-year contracts, which can be extended by further periods of up to two years, on the recommendation of the Principal.

Salaries are awarded based on experience and qualifications and will be appointed to a specific point on the Dubai Schools’ salary scale. We regularly review our salary scales, which are structured to enable ongoing development and progression.

The Dubai Schools provide Medical Insurance to all employees under its sponsorship during their employment, as per the UAE Labour Law. The insurance will cover the medical expenses within defined individual annual limits and as per the terms and conditions of the prevailing medical insurance policy.

Taaleem is looking for an experienced and dedicated Head of MOE Subjects to join our Dubai Schools campus for an Immediate start.

Primary Purpose of the Job:  

The Head of MOE Subjects holds the overall school responsibility and accountability for monitoring student progress, attainment, and curriculum delivery through close collaboration with the SLT for Arabic Subjects. The Head of MOE Subjects also supports all teachers in achieving outstanding teaching for effective learning results whilst working with the SLT and department members to assess the impact of school action plans in achieving desired learning outcomes.
