This role would be ideal for an organised and planned thinking Head Teacher/Deputy Head Teacherwith a strong grasp of how to ensure exceptional teaching and learning across the primary phase of the school. The candidate also has to be technologically savvy, as the school utilizes the latest technology and facilities to ensure the school delivers a rich and diverse curriculum in an inspiring and creative way. The school is a high quality, purpose-built building with academic results that are above national average. The candidate could be an established head teacher looking for a new challenge/opportunity or alternatively a deputy who feels ready to step up to their first headship.

The Head Teacher must be a native English speaker, have strong abilities in handling day to day activities, high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills that gets the best out of others, visibility, energy, enthusiasm and resilience; that will set them apart as a leader.

Responsibilities: 

Deliver exciting and focused leadership for the staff, students and the wider community

Monitor and evaluate the performance of the school and the quality of teaching and learning

To develop a school perfection plan founded in a secure understanding of classroom observation and data.

Improve the existing system for the management of staff performance, incorporating target setting and individual development plans

Continuously promote the environment that reflects and secures outstanding teaching, effective learning, high standards of achievement and good behaviour.

Develop and maintain effective partnerships with the community including business and industry.

Constantly improve an organisation in which all staff feel valued and recognise that they are accountable for the success of the school.

Noor Al Diyar is a brand new, purpose-built school set on the shores of North Bahrain, close to the International Airport. The next academix year, the school seeks to accommodate Reception to Year 8 students (KG1 – Grade 7) but will extend its year groups and eventually to AS and A levels.

Noor Al Diyar School is fully equipped to teach the Cambridge Curriculum with a capacity for nine classes per year group. Its state-of-the-art Library, IT Suites, Music Rooms, Hall and Early Years provision, as well as its beautifully attractive classrooms, make this school very popular with parents.

KG and Primary Teachers for immediate start.

All candidates shall be graduate with a teaching related degree and minimum of 2 years teaching experience
