Job Description

Job Purpose 
The role holder is responsible for ensuring equity of learning across all grade levels and ensuring inclusivity across a wide range of student needs


Key Responsibilities 

  • Identifying and progress monitoring of all SOD students
  • Student IEP creation and progress monitoring
  • Lesson plan, assessment, and resource support for teachers with SOD students
  • Identifying and progress monitoring for G&T students 
  • Provide support and training for all staff for differentiation within the classroom
  • Provide ongoing training for shadow teachers, teaching assistants, LST teachers, etc. as needed
  • Responsible for planning and implementation of the EAL program to support identified EAL students through the use of WIDA, Reading A-Z, and teacher observations.  
  • Provide ongoing training for teachers to support the EAL program.
  • Plan and organize student and staff wellbeing activities throughout the school year.
  • Produce newsletters to keep parents informed about wellbeing activities.
