Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for ensuring equity of learning across all grade levels and ensuring inclusivity across a wide range of student needs
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and progress monitoring of all SOD students
- Student IEP creation and progress monitoring
- Lesson plan, assessment, and resource support for teachers with SOD students
- Identifying and progress monitoring for G&T students
- Provide support and training for all staff for differentiation within the classroom
- Provide ongoing training for shadow teachers, teaching assistants, LST teachers, etc. as needed
- Responsible for planning and implementation of the EAL program to support identified EAL students through the use of WIDA, Reading A-Z, and teacher observations.
- Provide ongoing training for teachers to support the EAL program.
- Plan and organize student and staff wellbeing activities throughout the school year.
- Produce newsletters to keep parents informed about wellbeing activities.
