Job Summary

  • Plans, organizes and evaluates all activities and processes that allow to carry out the substantive and adjectival functions with quality and academic excellence, in order to achieve student raised forecast and economic results.
  • Spread the Mission, Vision, Values,  Model of Educational CASC, and Regulations among its teachers, administrators and students, ensuring their knowledge by the entire community.

 

General Functions

  • Participate in the compliance of the internal communication policy.
  • Develop the annual academic and administrative calendar, in coordination with the Directors and/or Coordinations.
  • Apply a strict monitoring to the processes, events and other actions established in the school calendar to avoid deviations.
  • Apply with the strictest possible adherence, intelligence, justice and equity the Institutional Regulations.
  • Monitor control and apply and strict adherence to the discipline by students and teachers.
  • Analyze and propose the problems generated in the daily work with emotional intelligence, adherence to institutional values, but always with empathy and a serious position but open-minded and keep the Principal informed.
  • Check if necessary the CEO and the Principal on the proposal for problems solving before giving a definitive answer solution.
  • Ensure the implementation of problem-solving.
  • Achieve professional and exemplary relationships with the primary and secondary clients (students and parents), to develop loyalty and affection for the institution.
  • Operate all actions and academic processes that take place at school.
  • Convene and participate in HJ and Grants Commissions.
  • Comply timely and in form with processes of Registrar´s office.

 

Authorities Paperwork and Technical Advice Councils

  • Comply and ensure that all the necessary paperwork for the proper functioning of CASC with SEC requirements: Student records, regulation registration, student’s report of movements, equivalences, revalidation and certificates, registration of teaching staff.
  • Follow up and application of student missing documentation.
  • Submit the reports to the Technical Councils to the Principal.
  • Monitor the agreements of the Technical Councils.


Registration and Re-registration Functions

  • Develop and propose strategies for ensuring forecasts of New Entry and Reentry and AVOID dropping out of students and encourage student retention with the Directors and/or Coordinators.
  • Coordinate and implement ADMISSION and LEVELING testing, and other relevant, for the proper monitoring and academic placement of students from NI and RI. And to follow up on the results obtained with the staff in charge and the Department of Psychology.
  • Plan, organize and conduct the student induction of new income students each period.
  • Generate schedules of each cycle for approval.
  • Assign each group teachers.
  • Ensure load of schedules in the system.

 

Retention and Academic Follow-up Functions

  • Achieve 100% retention and 100% of NI.
  • Ensure and verify the delivery of educational planning of each school year in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and authorize the teaching planning of each school term in a timely manner.
  • Track the adjustments suggested for the teaching planning and educational support of the Teacher´s Coordinator.
  • Ensure compliance of the adjustments and suggestions for the teachers planning and educational support.
  • Oversee and monitor the academic performance and attendance of students in different programs of study.
  • Monitor continuously the programmatic progress of the subjects and students to achieve the expected learning objectives for Excale and Planea. 
  • Oversee and monitor the academic performance and attendance of students in different programs of study.
  • Ensure compliance of learning processes in Reggio Emilia with the Preschool Coordinator.
  • Ensure that proper documentation both textual, photographic and filmed is made in Reggio Emilia in Preschool.
  • Ensure the performance of the exposure event of Preschool in Reggio Emilia.
  • Monitor and ensure tutoring and remedial courses for students.
  • Meet with the level coordinators and with the Teachers Coordinator to of overseeing the programmatic progress.
  • Attend regular meetings scheduled by the Principal with their staff.
  • Ensure student assessment by teachers.
  • Ensure the delivery of grades in a timely manner for delivery to Registrar´s office.
  • Ensure loading of grades of teachers in the Registrar´s office and SEC.
  • Have weekly meetings with Coordinators to track all administrative and academic extracurricular CASC activities.
  • Send the minutes of the meetings and agreements with Level Coordinators to the GD immediately.
  • Give regular monitoring with staff to develop and monitor academic work.
  • Supervise and endorse the academy work.

 

Events Organization Functions

  • Plan, organize and control the logistics of academic, cultural, sports and recreational events according to the POA, school calendar and according to the annual budget.
  • Ensure the participation of the Level Coordination in implementing the events.
  • Request and ensure delivery of the necessary supplies for events on budget.
  • Give information on time and parents on their participation or invitation to the event.
  • Implement a customer satisfaction questionnaire for each event.
  • Complete and submit to the Principal the report upon every one of the events held in a timely manner.

 

Administrative Functions

  • Follow up on past due tuitions.
  • Propose strategies to bring down past due tuitions.
  • Follow up on the agreements of the weekly meetings with Coordinators to ensure compliance all administrative and academic extracurricular CASC activities.
  • Provide timely and all communications and circulars to the front desk for proper distribution.
  • Comply with timeliness and efficiency all the processes with the Registrar´s office.
  • Collect and deliver on Front Desk the grades and attendance lists for registration and protection.
  • Ensure by monitoring Directors and/or Coordinators the operation of the guards of entrance and exit and recess time.
  • Ensure the application of the teachers student evaluation.
  • Apply the teaching and administrative evaluation.
  • Deliver the evaluation of staff performance through SIPEDD and SIPEDA.
  • Ask for the necessary staff training.
  • Monitor the implementation of teacher training.
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual POA.
  • Convene and oversee the participation of her Coordinators in annual POA.
  • Monitor continuously the implementation of the POA.
  • Develop budget by levels.
  • To monitor the implementation of budget levels.
  • Elaborar el presupuesto de los niveles.
  • Monitor the compliance of the budget by levels.

 

Other responsibilities

  • Develop and ensure strategies for revenue generation and cost savings in the area.
  • Comply with the indicators and standards of academic and administrative operations.
  • Prepare and submit the results report to the Principal
  • Organize, and control the logistics of the reunions and programs and projects "BEO, AZMUN, Spelling Bee, Inter Middle schools, among others as well as ESL, PIA, Yearbook, Radio and Academic Magazine, together with the editorial and production committee”.
