Tokyo Academics is the passion project of a constellation of teachers, researchers, and academics from around the world. Since 2012, we’ve evolved from a few university friends to a growing number of part-time and full-time individuals located in Tokyo, as well as working remotely. We are an organization of experts deeply passionate about helping students meet their potential and capture the opportunities of the future.
We're hiring an instructor to teach classes and private lessons in our laboratory, as well as to help with inventory management. You will be responsible for leading elementary and middle students through a range of engaging, age-appropriate science experiments.
What you will be doing:
Teaching students (ages 6-13) in our laboratory at our Nishiazabu, Tokyo learning center
Managing laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies, creating invoices, and communicating with local suppliers

Work hours:
10 to 20 hrs/week
Working in-person, hence must be available during business hours (10am-7pm Japan Standard Time)
