The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time. NIS is a fully authorised PYP school and we are completing the important next steps in the journey. This includes an ever-deepening approach to rigorous learning through skilfully constructed inquiry leading to conceptual learning. We are also working hard to infuse our PYP programme with high-quality approaches to literacy and numeracy as well as embed international mindedness into an ‘action-oriented’ – and rigorous -curriculum. All this is a work in progress – but if you are keen to help us build, then this may be the right challenge for you. If you are an inclusive, highly-skilled, intentional and strategic teacher, able to construct high-quality learning which ensures all students are challenged, and all students are successful, then this may be the position you have been looking for!
Nagoya International School (NIS) is a diverse community of life-long learners who embody the values and beliefs of our mission. A fully accredited, not-for-profit, inclusive comminity school, at NIS we seek teachers who want to help students to inquire, inspire and have impact!
NIS seeks to make our mission the reality for every student, in every classroom, every day – by design. Our teachers are dedicated to nurturing the talents and dreams of students who represent a wide-range of cultures and identities and we work each day to suppot them in embracing the skills, behaviors and values that are essential for success and happiness in the world beyond school.
If you are committed to international, inclusive education, we hope to hear from you!
