Math Teacher - Al Hammad Academy - Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned subjects to elementary students according to curriculum plan
• Create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year including materials for class activities
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
• Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
• Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, and storytelling
• Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans
• Coordinate with other grade teachers to maintain consistency in curriculum
• Develop lesson plans and instructional ideas according to school standards. Create instructional resources for use in the classroom
• Motivate students to participate in various educational activities
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures
• Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, visits by guest speakers or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities
• Select, store, order, and inventory classroom equipment, materials, and supplies
• Organize and label materials, and display students' work
• Provide disabled students with assistive devices, supportive technology, and assistance accessing facilities such as restrooms
• Attend staff meetings, and serve on committees as required
• Any other miscellaneous duties assigned by the Principal
