NIS is fully authorised to offer all three IB programmes with the majority of students taking the full IB Diploma. The Visual Arts are currently a very popular option at all levels and are valued for the depth and balance they bring to students’ understanding of themselves and their world. The school also has a lively Drama department with regular performances which include both student-created and published productions of theatre. The overall arts team is complemented by an active Music department.
The opening of a new building with a multipurpose performance space, new art rooms and new music suite leaves us with great potential for further development in the arts.
NIS is an inclusive school serving a varied array of learners and the position will suit teachers who thrive in diverse classrooms and professional, collaborative cultures.
Nagoya International School (NIS) is a diverse community of life-long learners who embody the values and beliefs of our mission. A fully accredited, not-for-profit, inclusive comminity school, at NIS we seek teachers who want to help students to inquire, inspire and have impact!
NIS seeks to make our mission the reality for every student, in every classroom, every day – by design. Our teachers are dedicated to nurturing the talents and dreams of students who represent a wide-range of cultures and identities and we work each day to suppot them in embracing the skills, behaviors and values that are essential for success and happiness in the world beyond school.
If you are committed to international, inclusive education, we hope to hear from you!
