Salaried charter school employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for self and/or family at Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF) rates. The State pays a part of the premiums for each employee's enrollment in a state-sponsored Medical, Drug, Vision, and Adult Dental Plan.
All employees have state holidays off. Teachers and 10-month employees have fall, winter, spring, and summer breaks, plus 18 days of sick leave per year. 12-month employees accrue vacation and sick leave on a monthly basis, at a rate equivalent to 18 days of each type of leave per year.

SEEQS: the School for Examining Essential Questions of Sustainability is a secondary public charter school in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. We currently serve approximately 180 students in 6th through 8th grades. SEEQS offers a community-focused, interdisciplinary project-based, tuition-free secondary school experience for Oahu families.
We are accepting applications for a middle school science teacher, who will teach two of the three middle school grades/subjects: Earth, Life, Physical science. SEEQS uses the SEPUP middle school science curriculum, which is investigative, issues-based, and standards-aligned.
