Qualifications:
The candidate shall possess a Social Studies certification from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Special Qualifications:
- The candidate shall possess the ability to develop in each pupil an appreciation of American ideals and cultural heritage;
- To develop proficiency in the use of social studies inquiry skills and concepts;
- Motivate each pupil to understand and exercise their rights, privileges, and responsibilities as a citizen;
- Develop an understanding of the geographical, historical, cultural, and political factors which influence the development of the world, state, national and local regions.

The Menominee Indian School District has a full-time position available as a Social Studies Teacher at the Menominee Indian Middle School for the 2022-2023 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct, monitor, and adjust teaching activities to assure student achievement, develop curriculum, and plan and implement teaching strategies.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and co-workers.
- The successful candidate will provide tolerance, extend understanding, and nurturing to all students.
