Job Description
Inspire Global Awareness and Critical Thinking as Our Middle School Social Studies Teacher
Are you a passionate educator eager to cultivate a deep understanding of history, geography, politics, and cultural diversity in middle school students? As a Middle School Social Studies teacher, you will empower students to become informed, thoughtful, and engaged citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Engaging Lesson Plans: Create comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, covering various aspects of social studies, including history, geography, politics, and cultural diversity.
- Foster Critical Thinking: Encourage students to analyze historical events, understand societal structures, and appreciate diverse cultures, promoting critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Assess Student Progress: Evaluate and document students' academic performance, behavior, and social development through assignments, tests, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Create an Inclusive Learning Environment: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that caters to diverse learning styles and needs, encouraging active participation and respectful discourse.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators to support student success and address individual learning needs.

- Bachelor’s degree in Education with a major in Social Studies.
- Proven experience as a middle school social studies teacher or in a similar educational role.
