My Math Experts is 1:1 online math tutoring and you can set your own availability and work from the comfort of your own home. We teach math to students in Grades 1 - College. We prioritize relationships - you will see your students every week and will build lasting relationships with them and their families. We believe in long-term planning and our mission is to remove the math friction from the lives of our families and help them achieve their goals, whatever that may look like. We are passionate about mentorship and provide a professional "home" for our dedicated tutors for years and years. Ours is a small business and you will work closely with our management team and mentors. My Math Experts is a place where you can thrive and you can grow with the company!
We are looking for people that are:

How do we achieve student goals?
State of the art Online Lesson Space
Students will work with their dedicated tutor in the Online Lesson Space. This incredible tool includes videoconferencing and a shared whiteboard, where materials can be uploaded, and both students and tutors can write and show their work. Math-specific tools like graphing tools, calculators, equation editors, and much more are also included. The best feature is that students will have a dedicated Online Lesson Space with their main tutor, and all notes will remain there. Students can revisit their Online Lesson Space at any time to review these materials and use the Space as a study aid. Screensharing is also available for students and tutors, allowing us to access online course materials and, maybe more importantly, all of the amazing math education resources the internet has to offer.
Support and Encouragement
All students are supported by the Director and our whole team as needed. Every My Math Expert is part of your team and committed to our shared goals. We offer on-demand support and emergency same-day sessions.
Accountability
The first 5 minutes of each session can be spent reviewing student school performance and grades. Parents can share school grade book logins – this is optional but encouraged. We can then check in on homework completion and student progress from the last session. The last 5 minutes of each session can be spent on making recommendations for what to practice, and this is when we will confirm future sessions and plan for upcoming exams.
Incredible Communication and Transparency
We use thorough reporting and progress tracking on our internal communication platform, and session summaries are emailed after each session. The Personalized Success Plan and Regular Updates keep the entire My Math Experts team on the same page with students and families. We will have shared goals, and we will succeed together.
Consideration of Grade and School Outcomes
We focus on school material; our mission is to achieve successful education outcomes and success for students within the classroom. However, if a student needs remedial help to understand current course material, we will address that and will include a customized My Math Experts curriculum as part of the student’s learning plan.
