Abroad International School Sendai is seeking highly motivated Early Childhood/Preschool/Kindergarten/Primary School Teachers for the Summer School 2018. The position will be from July 30th to August 10th, 2018.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right teacher to join an excellent school to teach in central Sendai, the largest urban center in Northern Japan. Working at Abroad International School Sendai provides an appealing, cleaner and greener, authentically Japanese, alternative to a place like Tokyo.
Summer School is organized into two weeks, each week focusing on a theme which is educational, interesting and engaging for children. This is an all in English program. Children do various activities related to the theme of the week, such as listening to stories, doing arts and crafts, singing songs and playing games. Also, weather permitting there will, on some days, be the opportunity for children to make use of water activities to cool down.
Classes: Children from age 2 to 9 will be divided into 3 classes depending on the age level and the number of children at each age.
Weeks
- Week 2: July 30th - Aug 3rd
- Week 3: Aug 6th - August 10th
Teachers who can work for 2 weeks will be given priority.
Weekly salary: 75,000 yen
Working hours: 08:30 - 15:30
