Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum, tailored to the diverse cultural backgrounds and varying levels of English proficiency of students.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the individual learning needs of students.
- Provide differentiated instruction to support both English language learners and students with advanced English skills.
- Assess students’ progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure all students are engaged and safe.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, coordinate, and implement cross-curricular activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Foster an environment that respects cultural diversity and promotes inclusivity.
- Identify and provide support for students with additional academic or social-emotional needs.
- Communicate effectively with coordinators and other staff to address student needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in international education and teaching methodologies.

Han Al International School, accredited by MINEDUC, offers a comprehensive education with an american system, from early years to university preparation. We provide both in-person and online learning, offering flexibility to our students. Our American cycle begins in August and ends in June.

With a 19 year legacy, Colegio Han Al Internacional was founded by two visionary individuals. The journey began in the year of 2000 as an academy dedicated to teaching Spanish, English, and Mathematics to Korean students arriving in Guatemala. Over the years, as the need for a more comprehensive education became evident, the owners officially established the school in 2006. Since then, the school has had over 700 graduates, all excelling in higher education and professional fields.
