Job Description:

Secondary science teacher (6th-10th grade) for biology, chemistry and physics

Full-time teaching position, 1-year contract with possibility of extension, start date 1st of August 2021.

Plan and teach science courses to meet students’ needs, interests and abilities for students in 6th-10th grade in biology, chemistry and physics
Design curriculum as per the needs of the students and in alignment with Cambridge standards
Evaluate and assess students’ progress on a periodic basis.
Monitor individual student progress.
Take corrective measures to enhance student learning abilities.
Instruct students on proper use of lab equipment, materials, aids and textbooks.
Set and monitor standards of student behavior.
Assist staff members in assessing students’ attitude, learning problems.
Advise parents on students’ progress and development.
