HESS International Educational Group is one of the largest private language schools in Asia. With more than 30 years of experience,  we have refined our selection and training process to put only the very best teachers in our classrooms.

We are looking for dedicated, hardworking, flexible, and fun-loving teachers. You should also have a good sense of humor and genuinely enjoy working with children. Teaching experience is an advantage, but it is not necessary. Teaching overseas is an enriching experience allowing individuals to become stronger, wiser, and more interesting as people and as professionals. When considering where with whom you would like to teach, remember that HESS is always here to help you grow!

Shanghai city is the economic heart of China. It is a vibrant and bustling location with a large expat community that has all the amenities and experiences you can get in the West. This metropolis has lots of tourist destinations as well as some of the best food in the world. Whatever you want and need you’re bound to find it there. QiBao Community is located in the center of Shanghai’s Minhang District and will give you the experience of living in a traditional Chinese water town. Qibao has been in existence for over 1,000 years. The locals hold its good reputation and success to the Qibao temple, which has been rumored to hold the seven treasures the town is named after.  It’s a weekend destination for the city dwellers of Shanghai, as it is conveniently located on Metro Line 9 and just a few kilometers outside of the city center. The history and quaintness of Qibao always give you something to do and the proximity to the city will never let you down or leave you bored.

Shanghai’s subway system is very easy to navigate and cheap. There is a station entrance about ten minutes away from our school, which connects you to just about anywhere you’d like to go in Shanghai. If you’d like to stray from the path of the Metro, the city can be explored by bus or by taxi, which are less expensive than in most countries. The adventurous types can try their handling skills on an electric bike while the sportive types can go around on a bicycle. Getting around Shanghai is simple, convenient and quite inexpensive, so enjoy your time off and explore.

For those who wish to travel to other parts of China, there are many options; taxis will let you negotiate a price when traveling out of the city, buses run every half hour from the bus stations, and trains depart from the nearby Hongqiao Station. When it’s time for a holiday abroad there are two international airports in Shanghai, Hongqiao and Pudong Internation Airports.

All the staff at the Hess International English Group is looking forward to your arrival. We are eager to show you our amazing school and our wonderful students. We are a close-knit family, which means that we will take care of you. Welcome to an incredible adventure in Shanghai-Qibao, China.
