- Demonstrate knowledge of content and content-related pedagogy, as well as prerequisiterelationships.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the characteristics, skill levels, approaches to learning, and varied interests of the student age group that is being taught.
- Select appropriate instructional goals that reflect high expectations, clarity, diversity, and abalance of teaching/learning techniques and styles.
- Demonstrate awareness and use of available resources for both teachers and students.
- Plan structured learning activities that use a variety of materials and resources; a varied andappropriate grouping of students to engage them in meaningful learning.
- Assess student learning on a regular basis in a manner that is congruent to instructional goal and related to district and state standards.
- Collaborate with support services teams to develop and implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
