Lenz International Education is seeking a TESOL teacher to work in the beautiful city of Jinan, China. Come join our wonderful team for the experience of a lifetime starting in September, 2019. Our job offers work in a variety of locations, including public schools and universities, kindergartens, and our own training school. Salary is 12 000 RMB per month, and accommodation is provided. Applicants must be a native English speaker, hold a Bachelor’s degree, and preferably be qualified through TESOL/TESL/etc.

Job Description and Role Responsibilities:

Our teachers will work in a variety of locations, including Lenzkids language schools, kindergartens, public schools, and/or universities, according to your preference and our contract needs. The description and responsibilities for each role are detailed below.

Employment at Lenzkids

  • Lenzkids language schools have been in operation since 2014. Students attending the school range in age from 3-15 years. In this role, you will engage in oral English lessons with the students, while enhancing their learning in a fun environment. You will regularly see the same classes every week.

Employment in Kindergartens

  • There are two different types of employment at this location. One involves working full-time at a kindergarten, where you will be responsible for your own “home class”, as well as teaching other students at the kindergarten throughout the week. The second type involves visiting a kindergarten once a week, and teaching all of the classes once. In both scenarios, the students are aged between 2-6 years old.

Employment in Public Primary and Middle Schools

  • This role includes working with primary and/or middle schools, with students ranging in age from 6-15 years. You will enhance students’ learning experience in English. You may be located regularly at one school, or rotate through a number of schools.

Employment in Universities

  • This teaching role involves building students’ confidence in using oral English, teaching students about Western culture, and improving students’ pronunciation and fluency. Students will range in age from 18-24 years, and may have English levels ranging from lower intermediate to advanced.
