The International Christian School of Lima (ICS Lima) is a well-established school serving missionary, diplomatic, and international business families. The school is located in the Miraflores district which is one of the most beautiful and safest areas of Lima. A few blocks from the school are incredible vistas of the Pacific Ocean. ICS Lima has the feel of a neighborhood school. Most of the students and teachers live nearby and walk to school. Classes typically have 12 - 15 students coming from over 20 nationalities. Job Summary/Objective:
ICS Lima is looking for a lower elementary class teacher. Teachers for this position should be certified by a national, state, or other accreditation agency. Teaching experience in an upper elementary class is desired. The upper elementary teacher will be teaching in a self-contained class and will be required to teach all core subjects. The school provides learning support and instructional help with sufficient planning time for preparation. The class size is limited to 12-15 students, but students may have various levels of English proficiency. The teacher will need to consider this position also as a ministry opportunity to guide students in Biblical truth.
General Responsibilities:
The teacher will teach all the core subjects, including the Bible, of a lower-level class.
