Job Description:

The International School of Stuttgart is a non-profit Kindergarten through 12th grade, CIS and NEASC accredited, IB World School offering an international curriculum to a student body of about 820 from over 30 nations. Among its strengths are its student-centered and holistic approach to learning and its commitment to professional development and emphasis on student pastoral care.

ISS is looking to hire a fulltime (40 hours/week) Educational Intern at ISS To commence in July 2019

The Educational Intern (ISS Upper School, Degerloch campus) is expected to work in the following fields:

Substitute Teaching
Teaching Assistance
Working with individual students who could gain from one-to-one contact but do not require specific instruction
Student management outside of class time duties (e.g. playground and lunch duties)
Supervision of Homework Club
Field Trip support
Duke of Edinburgh expeditions
Chaperone varsity sports events
Contributing individual areas of expertise (computer skills, sports, outdoor activities, love of books … etc.) to strengthen the learning opportunities in school life
