Alberta Academic Program Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective delivery of the academic program for Grades K-12.
  • Facilitate the development of the program to meet the needs of dual language learners.
  • Develop and oversee an assessment framework aligned with Alberta (AB) standards.
  • Foster effective instructional leadership to enhance academic achievement and implement high-yield instructional strategies.
  • Provide support to leadership teams within the CS Network.
  • Deliver professional development sessions to support AB and SEP teachers in Grades K-12.

Work Schedule (Hybrid Format):

  • Online: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Face-to-face: Twice annually, during school years, for 5 days each visit (scheduled in October/November and March/April).

Compensation Package:

  • Attractive salary
  • Two round-trip flights are provided per year. (2 weeks per year: one in OCT or NOV and the other one in FEB or MARCH)
  • Housing accommodation, Food allowance, and Transportation provided during the visits to Gdl.
