Core Responsibilities

  • Lesson delivery: 40-60 minute group lessons
  • Preparation: lesson plan review, room set up…etc.
  • Trial lesson delivery: for those considering enrollment
  • Participation in seasonal events, camps, special lessons, trainings, workshops
  • Customer communication: build rapport, maintain cordial relationships
  • Promotional support: work together with school staff
  • Curriculum, lesson plan, materials are all prepared
  • Teachers receive trainings, workshops, and mentor/trainer support

  • Monthly salary: 250,000 JPY

Qualifications and Requirements

Education RequiredBachelor

  • Proficiency in English
  • Passion and care for teaching young children
  • Professionalism: team player, skilled communicator, proactive and respectful character
  • People skills: can build rapport, establish and maintain cordial relationships
  • Resilience: ability and will to learn and adapt to new culture, overcome challenges
  • Can attend interview/orientation conducted in the US

 

Preferred

  • Background in TESOL, TEFL, ESL, or relevant
  • Experience with children (e.g. babysitter, daycare/nursery, camp leader)
  • Experience in Japan (e.g. study abroad, travel, working holiday)
  • Japanese language: “beginner”, “just getting started” are welcomed!
