Early Years Education Substitute Teacher

We are an International School offering an English educational setting for infants (1-year-old) through Kindergarten ( 5-year olds) students.

Abroad International School - Okayama provides an English-based comprehensive education using the IB PYP curriculum and strategies. Currently, we are an IB candidate school, and our teachers are learning about the IB program. This is a great opportunity for our teachers to gain knowlege and experience in the world-class IB program.

At the Preschool School, we aim to help our students gain confidence and make learning fun for these young learners. We provide many opportunities for students to demonstrate what they have learned, and maintain a low student to teacher ratio which allows for a strong student-teacher relationship.

We are seeking teachers who are enthusiastic, energetic, and love communicating with young children. Must be a team-player and ready to contribute to our students' education and our school's success.

Native English Speaker Degree in Early Years Education or Bachelor Degree with Teaching Certificate for Early Years Section Early childhood education teaching certificate and ESL experience are preferred Able to plan, develop it and cooperate with the homeroom teacher Two or more years teaching experience at preschool or kindergarten schools is highly preferred Flexible, creative, risk taker and internationally open-minded personality Must be able to work well within a team Well-organized and have a professional manner
