Educational Assessor (Student Support Team)
An Educational Assessor conducts assessments primarily in areas of cognitive processing and academic achievement for eligibility requirements to receive special services for specific students. The assessor conducts interviews with parents and educators, guides the pre-referral process and provides documentation of findings. The Assessor also provides diagnostic assessments for students who may need further evaluation to determine if there is a need for a significant change in eligibility, an identified need for a related service, or need to add an area of service. The Assessor position is designed to support the School Support Team during the assessment phase of the referral process. 2 years of experience preferred.
