Educational Psychologist

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family counseling with children and adolescents
  • Conduct screening for learning disabilities, ADHD, and developmental disabilities
  • Implement behavioral management plans and provide clinical recommendations to school staff
  • Provide professional development and support services to school staff
  • Collaborate with other in-house psychologists

MajorPsychology or closely related field from an accredited university
Additional School Requirements
  • Possess a mental health license or be licensed-eligible
  • 2 years of postgraduate clinical experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Completed graduate-level coursework and training in psychoeducational assessment at an accredited university
  • Ability to tolerate ambiguity and work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Demonstrated multicultural competence and experience working internationally
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of working in a non-profit organization
