Elementary Homeroom Teacher
The Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction for homeroom subjects (English, math, science, and citizenship) as well as cultivating a classroom environment that is supportive, inclusive, and engaging. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at the primary school level, with a strong knowledge of the subject matter and a passion for helping students learn.
The school environment prioritizes student achievement and safety. The Homeroom Teacher will be expected to contribute to this culture through active participation in professional development and school-wide initiatives, thoughtful lesson planning and creation of supplementary materials based on the Pearson curriculum, and assisting the administration with monitoring students. Additionally, the Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for assessing student progress, providing individualized instruction and support as needed, and maintaining professional communication with all members of the school community.
