Elementary School Vice Principal

Responsibilities

Work with the management of the school---you will be the leader of these tasks but will not work in isolation
Working with the business office with: facilities, transportation, HR, purchasing, IT, maintenance, housekeeping, campus security, etc. attend administrative & operations meetings on Wednesday & Thursdays
Activities - graduation, orientation, field trips, clubs, after school activities, sports, WWW, CAS, etc.
Testing - MAP
Overseas ordering
Textbooks - manage adoptions, work with library and with Main campus
Substitutes, teachers & faculty sick leave
School & community relations - PTO, newsletter, school Facebook, web page, apps, etc. Computer – home page, website, apps
Work with fire drills, safety, crisis, etc.
Hiring and evaluating of teacher assistants
Supervision of students - before school, lunch time, class change, after school, etc.
Licensing of IT software
New teacher orientation and apartment hunting
Other duties as delegated by the principal

AIS West is projected to have appr. 1600 K-12 grade students for the fall 2019 term.

About the School

AISE West opened in 2009 in Sheikh Zayed City and offers places to students in Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12.
