Elementary Teacher
Sekolah Victory Plus is the only IB world school in Kota Bekasi. We are a caring and responsible community of lifelong-learners, global citizens and entrepreneurs. We are an IB continuum school authorized to teach the Primary Years Programme (PYP) in the Early Years and Primary School. In the Secondary School we authorized to teach the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). We are looking for creative, open minded, collaborative teachers with an excellent command of English to join our dynamic, caring and nurturing school. We have a number of official IB trainers and examiners on staff to ensure teachers joining our school know they will receive outstanding development with the IB programmes.
We require an experienced elementary teacher with EAL/ESL experience to work in the PYP section of our school. Specifically the candidate will:
- Support the Homeroom teacher (HRT) in the delivery of language lessons
- Collaborate with the HRT teacher
- Teach the whole class or take small groups or individual support for students depending upon the needs of the particular class
- Work closely with all the homeroom teachers to ensure that the lessons compliment the Programme of Inquiry
- Support the HRT teacher in planning, teaching, assessing and evaluating, then refining the language expectations for English
There is the possibility of additional responsibilities. This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who want to begin their IB career or strengthen their knowledge of the IBPYP. We have three IB PYP workshop leaders on staff. Come join our team!
