Elementary Teacher

Hábitat Learning Community is a Reggio Inspired school located in Guadalajara, Mexico. We offer an English immersion program for children 2-9 years old.

We are looking for enthusiastic, joyful teachers who see children as active participants in their education. 

Teaching hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. -  3:00 p.m. (8:00am - 4:00pm one day a week)

Responsibilities

  • Document the children's learning processes on a daily basis (Reggio-inspired documentation)
  • Work collaboratively with co-teacher and other staff members
  • Plan projects and activities
  • Write progress reports (three times a year)
  • Attend extracurricular activities such as Play Day and Night of Tales, among others
  • Have excellent communication skills with parents and coworkers
  • Participate in staff development sessions
